Beauty Glow Bath tea

A few years ago, I blogged about my journey with My Beloved Marigold Flowers. Since then, a lot has happened but the most interesting of which is that I discovered the health benefits of these flowers. To be more specific, I discovered the wonders they can do for my skin. So this phase of my marigold journey started while I was shopping for my favorite skin care products. The company that I shop with does a great job of listing the ingredients and what benefits they have for your skin. One of these products was calendula (a type of marigold flower) which they claimed helps reduce sensitivity and soothe irritation, is rich in natural antioxidants, and helps keep skin hydrated. This discovery started me down a rabbit hole to find out more about this flower that does so many great things for my skin. So... One of the best things about this flower is the subtle smell but I also love how it felt in my bath water. Only problem was that cleaning petals out of the bath tub after a bath was not so fun so I decided to put the petals in a tea bag and BOOM! the bath teas were born. I didn't stop there tho, I added extra ingredients like oatmeal to provide an even deeper moisture for the skin and orange peels for skin brightness. After a few months of tinkering, I have arrived at the perfect formula for my beauty bath.
